INSIGHT TV has announced the launch of an AI-powered live shopping channel in collaboration with Edge Video AI.
The trial will provide UK viewers of INSIGHT’s INTRAVEL channel with real-time, interactive product engagement, enabling them to instantly shop for products related to the content they are watching.
Analysing live content, Edge Video AI’s platform identifies optimal moments to introduce relevant products, integrating buying opportunities with the viewer’s current interest.
Products such as tours, hotels, flights and travel essentials will be chosen by AI and showcased according to the context of the programme being viewed, said the company.
