Arena Television liquidators launch claim against banks

Arena Television collapsed at the end of 2021 with debts of £280 million. At the time it employed 63 members of staff principally based at its offices in Redhill

Kroll Advisory, the company that dealt with the collapse of Arena Television in 2021, has begun a civil claim against Lloyds Bank and Bank of Scotland.

According to City AM, Kroll’s claim has been filed in the Commercial Court of the High Court by litigation boutique Stewarts. The report says the case is listed as a Part 7 claim over general commercial contracts and arrangements.

In February 2022, the Serious Fraud Office opened an investigation into the company. So far, no-one has been held to account for the collapse.
