Channel 4 has announced plans to recruit a managing director for Nations & Regions, based at its new Leeds headquarters.
The broadcaster said the appointment will play a “critical role in leading the delivery of the 4AlltheUK Nations & Regions strategy.”
The new MD will lead the establishment of Channel 4’s three new bases – as well as working to develop new relationships and opportunities for collaboration with Nations & Regions producers and stakeholders.
The role is described as being a champion for the Nations & Regions across Channel 4 and will work to effectively deliver the significant increase in Channel 4 Nations & Regions commissioning spend as part of the new strategy.
