Grass Valley and ES Broadcast drive innovation with strategic partnership agreement

The partnership leverages the combined expertise of the two companies, driving innovation in broadcast and production

Grass Valley has announced it has entered a significant strategic partnership (SSA) with ES Broadcast.

Building on a collaboration that has extended more than ten years, the agreement entails a multi-million dollar annual spend by ES Broadcast, increasing its inventory of Grass Valley products including live production infrastructure, switchers and cameras.

With a presence in the USA, UK and mainland Europe, ES Broadcast provides sales and systems integration alongside a hire business supplying Grass Valley camera systems for sporting, news and entertainment events around the world. An Authorised Service Provider (ASP) in the UK, Ireland and Spain, the company provides support services for customers across the regions. Being the first Grass Valley AMPP-certified partner, expansion of the AMPP platform will form a key startegic focus for ES Broadcast.

Managing director at ES Broadcast, Greg de Bressac, commented, “This partnership is not just about maintaining our relationship with Grass Valley; it’s about expanding it. We’re growing our geographical reach and deepening our strategic interactions to unlock new opportunities. Grass Valley products continue to be a crucial part of our inventory, especially with the adoption of the LDX100 series, which we believe will play a significant role in our future. We’re also committed to driving the adoption of AMPP-based products, which we see as vital to the future of our industry.”

Tim Banks, chief revenue officer at Grass Valley, added, “We are thrilled to enter this next chapter with ES Broadcast. Their commitment to Grass Valley products and their expertise in the media and entertainment industry – across a range of hardware- and software-based applications – make them an ideal partner to drive our joint vision of growth and innovation.”
