The NAB Broadcast Engineering and IT (BEIT) Conference, part of the 2025 NAB Show, will include a keynote session streamed live from space.
The event will showcase new live UHD switching and routing capability at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston.

The session will examine the challenges and innovations that will define the future of broadcast technology, content distribution and media, said NAB.
Bob Jacobs, retired senior communications executive at NASA, will serve as the panel’s moderator, with insights from NASA astronaut Tracy C. Dyson, general manager and head of NASA+ Rebecca Sirmons, VP Americas engineering services at Harmonic, John Lysic and SVP production technology and operations for Paramount, Frank Governale.
The keynote will take as part of the BEIT Conference on April 5th at 9:30am PDT.
