Ram Tripathi appointed as production technology and DI consultant at Notorious DIT

Andy Sumner also joins the company supporting its recent expansion into Liverpool

Notorious DIT has announced the appointment of Ram Tripathi as production technology and DI consultant.

Tripathi joins the DIT and digital lab provider following a career which has included working as a production technologist at Netflix, where he contributed to innovative tool development from on-set colour and data management to post production workflows. As a freelance senior DIT he collaborated regularly with the team at Notorious DIT and takes up his permanent position bringing a wealth of expertise across production workflows, digital imaging and technology solutions. His new role will encompass the optimisation of production processes, ensuring seamless integration of technology across a range of projects.

Andy Sumner also joins the company as The Notorious Man in the North, supporting efforts in the North West following expansion to Liverpool last year.

Notorious DIT has also unveiled its new turnkey solution for remote production. R.O.V.E.R (Remote Offload Verify Export Render) enables safe back up and delivery of rushes to the edit while on location, eliminating the need for on-set operators. R.O.V.E.R aims to enable productions to implement high-end workflows for managing complex overseas shoots.

Additionally, Video Playback has now been added to the company’s services, aiming to offer users a complete service enabling on-set efficiencies and streamlined communications.
