Sohonet has announced the acquisition of Sycamore Communication (Exchange).
The connectivity, media services and network security company called the acquisition an extension of the range of connectivity and collaboration solutions each organisation can now offer their media and entertainment customers.
Sohonet has a global network of over 500 media companies using its real-time collaboration, Cloud-acceleration and file-transfer tools.
Combined with Exchange’s fixed production studio services for phones and video surveillance, as well as its rapidly available remote production communications, the companies will serve the production industry across features, episodic and advertising.
