TVBEurope’s first issue of 2020 is now available.
The brand new issue looks at how technology has helped some of this year’s awards contenders create outstanding TV and films, and hears from those who work with broadcasters to get their content from the red carpet back to the viewers at home.
It also includes a look at where the broadcast technology industry is as we enter a new decade, and where it could be by 2030, with contributions from Deloitte, the EBU, AIMS, SMPTE, Dejero, IBM Watson, BBC Studioworks and more.
The new issue also spends a day with broadcast audio mix engineer Toby Alington who worked on the recent YouTube broadcast of Coldplay’s gig in Jordan to launch their latest album, Everyday Life.
Philip Stevens finds out how Sony goes about conceiving and developing new products; Tom Butts reports from CES on the latest developments around TV screens; and Dan Meier finds out why it takes so long to localise content for the streaming giants.
