Apple is reportedly planning to allow users of its devices access to free content when it launches its new video service next year.
According to CNBC, the tech giant is looking at launching a service that offers exclusive Apple content as well as subscriptions to other services — which appears to be somewhat similar to Amazon Channels.
Viewers with Apple devices such as iPhones, iPads, and Apple TV, will be given free access to Apple’s own content which will be housed in the company’s TV app.
CNBC reports Apple plans to debut the revamped app early next year. An Apple spokesman declined to comment.
