IBC2024 has announced a number of keynotes, presentations, panels, and other sessions that will take place at this year’s IBC Conference.
This year’s sessions will take a deep dive into issues and themes relating to IBC2024’s three core pillars: Transformative Technology, Shifting Business Models, and People and Purpose.
The IBC Conference will last an extra day in 2024, running from 13th-15th September, and is moving to the Auditorium Complex at the RAI with two theatres and a large, self-contained Delegate Lounge open to all attendees.
Day one will kick off with a Keynote from media and technology analyst Benedict Evans who has worked with Orange, Channel 4 and NBC Universal. His session is titled Navigating a changing media landscape: AI and everything else, in which he will explore how disruption has become the new normal in the media and entertainment (M&E) ecosystem, looking at how immersive technologies, AI, new connectivity, personalised content experiences, and other developments are reshaping M&E.

Fireside chats will take place throughout the Conference, featuring Grace Boswood, technology director at Channel 4, Cristina Gomila, managing director of content technology & innovation at Sky, and Sinead Greenaway, BBC director of broadcast and end user technology.
Phil Wiser, CTO, Paramount Global will deliver day two’s Keynote, on From ideas to impact: Blending technology, creativity and business. The day will also feature a panel on Setting the pace for FAST in Europe as well as the much-anticipated Olympics panel that will showcase and champion the technology that was used on the Games, lessons learned, what they mean for the future of sports broadcasting.
Sunday (day three) includes AI in Action Case Studies with speakers from Sky, NBC Universal, ITV and the Olympic Channel.
