AEQ has released details of its collaboration with Canal Sur.
Upgrading its production operations, the Andalusian free-to-air TV channel migrated its intercom system to IP, selecting AEQ’s ConeXia matrix as the base. 64 analogue ports, 128 AoIP DANTE ports, 8 digital protocol ports and 24 IP protocol ports were distributed in the Seville production centre and territorial headquarters in each province, aiming to coordinate the studio’s productions, along with an 8-channel linker and 68 TP 8116 panels.
The 8000 Series Intercom panels incorporate an echo canceller, complete audio processing system allowing parametric equalisation of the audio band, dynamics management that tailors to each user with noise gating and a DLP dynamics adaptor with expansion, compression and limiting functions, said the company.
Installation, configuration, commissioning and training was carried out by PROVIDEO in collaboration with AEQ’s central services in Madrid, working remotely to complete the project.
