uniqFEED has announced it is opening a new remote operations centre (ROC) at its Zurich headquarters.
Responding to growth in demand for virtual advertising across a range of sports, the ROC will offer Tier 1 connectivity with a 1+1, fully diverse, dual presentation including internet delivery, said the company. Purpose-built in cooperation with Eurovision Services, Geneva, the facility aims to meet the needs of varying clients with increased resilience.
The ROC will provide virtual advertising services in a range of production formats including HD, UHD, SDR and HDR, and will be capable of supporting up to six simultaneous sports events.
With contribution and distribution in J2k and SRT, the ROC will be able to handle evolving production formats and the growth in IP transport standards, said uniqFEED.
Roger Hall, uniqFEED CEO said, “We see this as a crucial step towards expanding the market for virtual advertising services and in the growth story of uniqFEED. As the market grows, we see it as essential that we can provide virtual advertising at scale and in a cost-effective way for our growing client portfolio. Our new ROC in Zurich plus our partnership with Eurovision Services will be a key component in delivering that.”
The new facility will be commissioned and ready for operations in Q3 2024.
