Canada’s DSC Labs, which is well known for creating camera test charts, is to close after 60 years in the industry.
The company is run by founders Susan and David Corley and aims to provide “better images through research” and develop cutting-edge technology that helps clients produce consistent, optimum quality images.
In a letter posted on the company website, Susan Corley said DSC will continue to accept orders until the end of October and cease operations by April 2025.
“We are currently speaking with our dealers about them possibly acquiring a substantial inventory of DSC products to be sold in the coming years, and will let you know if we are successful in concluding such an arrangement or arrangements,” she added.
DSC’s products are available throughout Europe via dealers in Denmark, Germany, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.
