Fluid data integration powers CANAL+ sports coverage

The partnership streamlines data integration, enabling CANAL+ to focus on content delivery

Fluid has highlighted its six year collaboration with CANAL+, integrating data across the broadcaster’s operations.

Integrating and manipulating sports data from multiple sources, Fluid’s turn-key Datahub platform powers CANAL+’s sports offering across 27 countries, said the company, enabling the creation of graphics for display across TV, internet and mobile devices. The partnership aims to provide the broadcaster with simplified data management and provides scalability for digital platforms, helping to boost viewing figures for its Champions League and MotoGP coverage.

“Fluid’s experience, expertise and commitment to technology innovation has become a key component of our broadcast capabilities,” said Stephane Baumier, CTO of CANAL+ Group. “We look forward to many more years of successful collaboration as we bring the world’s top sports events to our viewers.”

Scott Barber, commercial manager at Fluid, said, “Our longstanding partnership with CANAL+ has played an important role in ensuring they meet the high standards they set for sports broadcasting.

“Our tools are designed to handle the complexities of data integration, enabling them to focus on delivering high-quality content to their viewers and the engaging experiences that help set CANAL+ apart.”
