DAZN is introducing HD to its coverage of Germany’s Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League matches from the start of the 2022/23 season.
The streaming service said it intends to gradually upgrade Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League games to full HD quality (1080p).
DAZN acquired the streaming rights to stream Bundesliga matches in Germany, Austria and Switzerland from the start of last season.
The deal includes the exclusive rights to 106 games per season, and runs until 2024/25.
Sky retains the domestic rights to the league, broadcasting 200 games a year.
