Dot Group on point for Timeline Television data transfer solution

The collaboration aims to streamline workflows and support critical broadcast operations

Dot Group has announced its DataSprint solution has been selected by Timeline Television Ltd.

Powered by IBM Aspera technology, the DataSprint solution aims to enable enhanced data transfer workflows for Timeline Television, supporting its overall business strategy. Upgrading Timeline’s existing IBM Aspera infrastructure with the latest software versions and features, the technology recreates existing workflows and further enables the development of new media transfer strategies, said the company.

The collaboration has already achieved results in real-world scenarios. Timeline was able to deploy a temporary installation enabling high-speed transfers for a user working on Euro 2024 coverage, providing reliability and real-time transfer monitoring capabilities.
