The HbbTV Association, a global initiative dedicated to providing open standards for the delivery of advanced interactive TV services through broadcast and broadband networks for connected TV sets and set-top boxes, has released a new version of the HbbTV Conformance Test Suite.
It includes new packages for the latest version of the core HbbTV specification, including features such as audio description and voice interaction.
“The latest update reflects the continuous and reinforced focus of the HbbTV Association and its partners on the Tests Suite to facilitate and verify the conformance of devices and applications with the HbbTV specifications,” said Vincent Grivet, Chair of the HbbTV Association.
“This enables a compelling TV experience for viewers and ensures that broadcasters and platform operators can make use of enhanced features for services including accessibility, navigation and monetisation.”
