Stockholm Stream helps Splatter horror across the Nordics

The solution eliminates technical horrors, said the company

Stockholm Stream has unveiled details of collaboration with horror channel, Splatter.

The company has revealed Splatter, a Swedish horror channel, is deploying its Delta system to power its launch on mobile, web and Chromecast devices across the Nordic region. Providing Splatter with a one-stop encoding, metadata, subtitles and packaging service, Stockholm Stream’s Delta system aims to enable the channel to scale up to a wide range of OTT platforms across the territories, building on an initial launch in Sweden.

Running on existing archives or in the cloud, Delta enables full ingest and delivery, also encompassing mastering and security. Vendor-agnostic, Delta serves all VoD players including Apple TV+, DISH, Prime Video, Magine Pro, Vimeo OTT, Roku, Sling and Xumo.

Co-founder of Stockholm Stream, Patrik Littmann, said, “We see a greater number of independent media libraries that are moving toward multi-platform distribution for SVoD subscription, and Splatter has an ideal audience for horror fans in the Nordics. Wherever Splatter wants to expand, our Delta system can help them increase distribution on any streaming platform or device type, eliminating any technical horror story.”
