Monaco’s first public TV station has begun broadcasting with the help of technology from broadcast microservices company nxtedition.
The station, which launched on 1st September, employed systems integrator Qvest to build out its production facilities.
TVMonaco is running nextedition’s Media Asset Management (MAM), post production tools, Newsroom Control System (NRCS), graphics, gallery automation, prompters and ingest workflows via its private cloud solution.
“The launch of TVMonaco marks a significant milestone for our city-state, and our collaboration with nxtedition has been instrumental in achieving our objectives,” said Sylvain Bottari, CTO at TVMonaco.
“Together with Qvest and CVS Engineering, we’ve established a cutting-edge broadcasting environment that ensures seamless operations for the channel.”
Adam Leah, creative director of nxtedition, added, “We are delighted to have been a part of this transformative project for TVMonaco. Our dedication to delivering innovative solutions for the broadcasting industry aligns perfectly with the project’s goals.”
