Vice Media Group has transitioned both its linear channels in the UK and France to playout from the Cloud.
The broadcaster has deployed Amagi’s cloud-based channel playout platform CLOUDPORT, which is built on AWS public Cloud infrastructure. The platform is delivering seven Vice TV channels globally.
According to Amagi, the move to a fully virtualised playout infrastructure has helped it to create a robust and scalable broadcast infrastructure for Vice TV with built-in redundancy and security.
