BBC Studioworks will once again provide studio services for music shows The Voice UK and Sounds Like Friday Night.
Studioworks’ Elstree complex will host the semi-final and final of The Voice UK on the George Lucas Stage 2. It will also play host to The Voice Kids which is due to broadcast in the summer.
Meanwhile, Television Centre will welcome back Sounds Like Friday Night next month. Studioworks will provide the show with technical studio support in TC1 as well as post production services for the show’s VT content via an Avid Symphony offline and online suite, with audio dubbing via protools.
“Live transmissions always create a buzz as there’s only one chance to deliver the content perfectly,” said John O’Callaghan, head of studios and post production, BBC Studioworks. “It’s a pleasure to be working with ITV Studios and Fulwell 73 again. It’s a real testament to our extensive experience and expert team in delivering such large scale live entertainment shows.”
