BT Sport is working with a number of technology providers to launch live, interactive sports quizzes.
The Beautiful Quiz is a a live play-along quiz around programming such as boxing, rugby, WWE and UFC.
The quiz has been produced by BT Sport, in collaboration with Monterosa, Phenix, Stats Perform and Sunset+Vine. It is available on BT Sport’s website.
Each technology company has been responsible for specific tasks:
- Monterosa: deliver the live play-along quiz game, synchronised to broadcast, enabling consistent gameplay, points scoring and live leaderboards to the entire audience
- Phenix: deliver a synchronised OTT stream in real time to all play-along devices regardless of location, device or connection.
- Stats Perform: provide the questions via the @Optajoe team, as well as the data, stats and key historical insights.
- Sunset+Vine: lead the technical production via their remote production gallery with inter-producer and operator connectivity hosted in Microsoft’s Azure Cloud.
