Wycombe Film Studios has received permission to build a temporary facility at Wycombe Air Park.
Planning officers at Buckinghamshire County Council gave ‘prior approval’ for a temporary change of land at the aerodrome site, allowing for five temporary workshops and a temporary backlot.
The single-storey demountable workshops can be erected with ‘minimal ground disruption’ and are planned to be ‘comparatively lower’ than the sound stages, according to the application.
The site will also include parking for 204 vehicles.
Filming activities are permitted to take place until November next year, with a planned shoot set to take place between April and May.
The company has submitted further proposals for the council-owned site which are currently under consideration.
