Playout service provider Basmedia, is launching a new HEVC UHD service using Ateme’s Titan Live. The channel, Festival 4K, will launch in France.

Titan Live is a virtualised software-based encoder-transcoder, with support for HEVC, H264 and MPEG2. It is based on Ateme’s fifth generation Stream compression engine, and can be easily upgraded to support HEVC and 4K-UHD.
