Input Media has won the contract to provide coverage of next summer’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.
The company will produce live programming across BBC TV, iPlayer and BBC Sport website.
Input Media produced coverage of this tournament from Canada in 2015 and currently produces the FA Cup Goals Exchange for the BBC.
Input Media’s head of programmes, Frank Callaghan said: “We are thrilled to have been awarded this prestigious work, which extends our relationship with the BBC. The FIFA Women’s World Cup is an established event in the sporting calendar and we are proud and privileged to be involved, providing top quality production, broadcast and technical services.”
The tournament runs from 7th June to 7th July 2019.
