NEP UK is set to continue its 30-year provision of outside broadcast facilities for the UK coverage of horse racing after winning a contract with ITV.
The new contract, which begins January 2017, will see NEP build several new trucks, all of which will be designed to be UHD-ready.
John Turnbull, deputy managing director, NEP UK, said, “The horse racing has been part of NEP UK for almost 30 years, right since the inception of the business.
“The team and I are very much looking forward to working on another major project with ITV Sport and producing top quality coverage.”
ITV won the rights for the horse racing back in January 2016, with coverage beginning in the new year.
Ben Russell, operations manager for ITV Sport, added, “ITV Sport are delighted to be working with NEP UK on our horse racing coverage.
“We have a long standing relationship with NEP UK across our portfolio and we know we can rely on them to work collaboratively with our production teams to deliver first class coverage.”
