Netgem has added Wuaki.tv and children’s platform Hopster to its OTT offering.
The end-to-end video entertainment provider will make both players available across its international network of channels and content partners.
The services will be integrated into Netgem’s #TelcoTV platform, which is designed to allow simple content discovery through optimised search and catalogue browsing.
Nick Walters, founder and CEO of Hopster, said, “At Hopster we’ve learnt a lot about offering users a great experience on TV over the last few years, and we’re focused on working with partners who offer proven technology, a great product, and access to a mass audience.
“Netgem tick all those boxes and we’re delighted to be partnering with them.”
The #TelcoTV platform incorporates broadcast TV with IPTV and HTML 5-based OTT content to enable telecoms providers to deliver a “complete experience” to their customers on TV and mobile devices.
Sylvain Thevenot, managing director of Netgem Europe, said, “By establishing international partnerships with world-class content owners like Wuaki.tv and Hopster, we are establishing a first class platform that enables telecoms providers to launch TV services with ease.”
“This international distribution agreement with both providers represents additions to our line-up range and allows us to incorporate a leading OTT service into our #TelcoTV solution that we offer to our existing customers and all forthcoming international deployments.”
