UK post house Evolutions has announced the launch of Evolutions at Home, a new workflow that enables editors to work remotely.
The solution enables editors to access Avid software and native media hosted at Evolutions’ post production facilities in London and Bristol.
It can facilitate multiple edits remotely or in the facility and enables editors to securely share their screen, live, with other members of the production. It integrates with all other services provided by the post house, including remote ingest, automatic transcription, secure archiving, and accelerating file delivery as well as other cloud-based collaboration tools.
The kit be delivered anywhere in the UK and is pre-configured and tested to ensure optimal performance, and sanitised to comply with Covid regulations.
It includes dual monitors, avid keyboard, mouse, mic, headphones, as well as secure access to Avid, infinite storage, and all support services. For editors who wish to use their own hardware, Evolutions at Home provides a secure log-in that allows access to the whole package with technical support available 24/7.
