Whisper has confirmed it will continue to produce Formula One highlights and live British Grand Prix coverage for Channel 4.
The companies secured a new deal at the end of 2019, covering the 2020 season kicking off in Melbourne on 13-15th March.
The C4 F1 coverage combines analysis, news and graphics in an entertainment format, featuring Steve Jones, David Coulthard, Lee McKenzie, Billy Monger, Mark Webber and Ben Edwards.
Whisper has covered all Formula One races for Channel 4 since 2016. In 2019, Whisper’s C4F1 coverage was shortlisted for a Broadcast Award for Best Sports Programme.
“Formula One feels part of the fabric of Whisper,” said Whisper co-founder David Coulthard. “The company’s founders (Sunil, Jake and I) met while working in the sport, but beyond that many elements of F1 – drive, ambition, innovation, speed, creativity, marginal gains – really resonate with who we are as a company.
