DAZN has announced a new ‘MultiView’ feature that lets users watch up to four live or on-demand events simultaneously on one screen.
The feature is currently available on fourth and fifth generation Apple TV devices in Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the US, Canada and Japan.
Ben Lavender, DAZN chief product officer, said: “DAZN is paving the way to a whole new sport watching experience. Compared to traditional linear TV, DAZN users now have the ability watch two, three or four games at once with a few clicks – it’s a game changer. The ‘MultiView’ function means fans never need miss a second of their favourite sports.”
Richard Giannetti, DAZN senior product manager, added: “The new ‘MultiView’ function will enhance the way fans watch sports. There are many concurrent live fixtures on the DAZN platform and giving fans the freedom to watch multiple events at once in an immersive way was a natural improvement for the product. We’re excited to constantly improve and create new viewing experiences for fans.”
DAZN will launch in Spain and Brazil this year, having secured exclusive broadcast rights to stream MotoGP, English Premier League and EuroLeague basketball in Spain; and Copa Sudamericana, Serie A TIM and Ligue 1 in Brazil.
