Facebook has partnered with content protection company Friend MTS to help content owners protect their work from piracy.
Friend MTS is integrating with Facebook’s Rights Manager which will help content owners monitor or block unauthorised sharing of live content.
The integration will add to the range of cross platform anti-piracy services offered by Friend MTS that are used by pay-tv operators, broadcasters and rights owners to protect their channels and content.
Chris White, head professional services at Friend MTS said, “We are delighted that Friend MTS is one of the first service providers to offer Facebook Rights Manage directly to our customers.”
“The integration will benefit our customers around the world, as they seek to control the use of their copyright content on Facebook.”
