Australia’s Fox Sports has announced the launch of its Aussie Rules Football streaming service worldwide.
Watch AFL is an OTT service available on mobile iOS and Android devices as well as Chromecast and Airplay on Apple TV.
The service is available in every market outside of Australia and allows users to watch live games and access on-demand catch-up as well as AFL entertainment content.
The service is powered by Accedo’s cloud-based video experience management platform, Accedo AppGrid.
Fox Sports, director, operations and digital, Les Wigan, said: “Watch AFL is a ground-breaking streaming service. We worked hard to launch the service in time for the inaugural AFL women’s competition, that has so far been a big hit with fans.”
