Unreel.me has strengthened its OTT turnkey platform by adding Vewd Snap compatibility.
It means content owners can create a TV app that works on Vewd enabled devices in “just a few minutes.”
Unreel.me looks after hosting and management of content, which is ingested by Vewd Snap and turned into a HTML5 app that is distributed through the Vewd app store.
“Today Unreel.me takes another step to allow its customers to distribute on one of the world’s largest OTT platforms,” said Dan Goikhman, CEO, Unreel.me. “Thanks to our partnership, content owners have a seamless solution that results in a distributed, monetised OTT app in less than a day, and with minimal effort required by the partner.”
The partnership has already resulted in 35 new apps joining Vewd’s store almost immediately.
“Unreel.me and Vewd are ideal partners for content owners who want to take advantage of the consumer shift to video on demand,” said Daniel Nordberg, SVP partnerships, Vewd. “The 35 apps we’ve launched in a short period underscore how quickly content owners can get to market and take advantage of the incredible opportunity OTT presents.”
